My fiance applied for a K1 visa about a year ago, my visa was approved back in November 09. For my work and other things that I was suppose to finish before traveling(moving) to the States we decided that he was going to keep visiting me every 2 months until April. I was suppose to travel next week April 4th. For the last 3 months things has not worked out very good between us for which I have decided not to travel until we fell completely ready for this big move. We do still want to be together, we just feel that we need more time to put everything together and have time to prepare our wedding, we do not want to rush. Maybe those are part of the reasons for what we feel so stress out. Oh well, my questions is; if I do not travel next week(my K1 expire in may) will my fiance be able to apply for another k1 for me?. Or this is the last chance or option we have?.

Please help!

You can apply for another K1. The process will be more or less the same, as will the time it takes.

Another thing you might consider is asking the consulate to extend the validity of the visa. They will sometimes do this if there is a compelling reason beyond your control. Needing more time to decide if you want to marry would NOT be a valid compelling reason. The position of USCIS and the consulates, as dictated by the immigration laws, is that you should have made a firm decision on this before submitting the petition and applying for the visa. On the other hand, if you had some things related to job or family that required you to stay a little longer, they might consider that a valid reason.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Thank you so much for your answer.
