I had copies of everything and filled out a new DS230 since it's a new version and presumably they need original signatures on the forms. It's his information, he should have no trouble filling out the DS230.

I agree. Is it normal for them to request the Medical & Xrays also? Whats that VFS site you had again?

About the alarm clock thing.... I so afraid I sleep in and don't wake up for the interview lol

My appointment is at 7:15am, but they say to be there sometime around 6:30am.

I'll have the hotel calling my room to wake us up, 2 cell phones with the alarm set up... and maybe have my mom calling as well? lol

Jezzzz I'm so excited!!!! Hope it doesn't last even 10 minutes.

I went to the Calcutta VFS. They told me I could either submit the medical to them or carry it to the interview. I opted to give them the Medical and am carrying the X-ray to the interview, just in case.

You know, I always wondered what the COs wanted with the x-ray anyway. It's not like they're going to pop it onto a lightbox and read it right there.

That's how the kids at the embassy identify other immigrant visa applicants to go and talk with while waiting. I keep wondering if Husby will join in on the girls' conversation or keep to himself. Poor guy. All by himself with a bunch of nervous women.

Wife picked her visa from the courier office. IR-1 stamped in her passport. Also got the sealed brown envelop.

I'm not even worried about oversleeping, I doubt I'm going to get ANY sleep that night.

Like Nat, I too am focusing on just one day at a time now. Otherwise, I get a tremendous urge to hurl.

Today--Review of all documents and color-coded organization. Birthday party in the evening.

Tomorrow--Pack for Mumbai. Dinner with the fam at night.

I hope they will allow hubby to do the same even though he says the Xray is in a big envelope that he does not want to take on the train. To VFS he will go by car.

Sounds like you got some fun activies going on before the interview. Except maybe the dinner. Its more like a "goodbye for now" dinner w/the fam.
