4 or 5 years ago i sponsored a friends son for imigration to the united states. Her son was 12 at the time and is now 16 years old. He does not live with me and his mother, who was petitioning for her son, now has an income that is more than sufficiant to take care of the sponsorship. My question is if he does not live with me, and it was so long ago, do I lst him under the secti on household size where it asks "If you have sponsored any other persons on an I-864 or I-864 EZwho are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here"? Thanks for the help!

Yes. The instructions are quite clear. Unless he has left the U.S. or is now a USC, you still have to include him in your household size. Doesn't matter if it was 5 years ago.
