129f sent 16 Mar 2010, received 18 Mar 2010, check cleared 18 Mar 2010. Now shouldn't i be getting an NOA-1 with the case number?

You should be receiving the NOA-1 about a week after the check was deposited. If you have online banking you can look at the backside of the cleared check and see your case number. Then you can register on the USCIS website to start tracking your case. Hope this helps- I am going through the same process.

I did the bank, view the check trick to find my case number before the letter came. It's a hard wait, and at least doing that, you can start watching your case lol.
