Folks,

I have a question .

Is it possibe to send additional info regarding the bonafide marriage and relationship [ such

as say bank statements(listing the cheques sent to my wife in the last 6 months), emails ( for about 6 months)

telephone call history logs, sworn statements from 2 or 3 relatives] to NVC in a book-size envelope with a mark on the

envelope that says 'For US Consulate review' ?

Pardon me if the question is weird.

For your info - I have already sent wedding photos, vacation photos, our passports showing the visa stamps for the countries we have traveled together, vacation itineraries in my I130 petition.

Thanks & regards

Never heard of middle-loading. You could try it.

I'm wary of sending more stuff than what is required to NVC. Seems to only cause more trouble.

Thanks sachinky.

The number pages that I have sent including the I130 petition has already crossed about 45 pages (I pasted 3 photos on each page).

I wanted to front-load as much as possible then realized that the number of pages would easily exceed 200 sheets (including call logs, bank statements, email logs, sworn statements) and it would take the USCIS adjudicator lot more time to review. so I thought, may be send these additional 150 pages or so to NVC and request them that these docs be forwarded to US Consulate for review. I am concerned that they may not understand those 'additonal docs' and may generate a weird RFE.

Thanks

IMO, you should have sent it in, with the initial I-130 submittal.

I've given advice to an I-130 person to do this, ONE TIME, for sending in with the DS-230 - but it was a special case -

ie - the K-3 at Guangzhou was denied, and the I-130 was later kicked into play, later, at NVC.

He sent in 200 pages with the DS-230 document, with a cover letter similar to the one you are thinking to do, and it made it to GUZ.

Again, IMO, you should have sent it in, with the initial I-130 submittal.

The USCIS adjudicator actually does NOT review the material that is sent for bonafide relationship/marriage evidence - that evidence is reviewed at the Embassy/Consulate IV unit, prior to interview day, and on interview day.

Who ever told you 'that was too much' - is a fool - I'm sorry to say it - but there ya go.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

if someone send these evidence at NVC stage would they trash it or would that information will be sent to the embassy?

no clue, sorry.

in the ONE instance, that I have personal knowledge about - that stuff was 'forwarded on' .

IMO, though - if you just 'did it' - it'd be trashed . I really have no clue for such a 'general case'.

Thanks Darnell.

I have sent several (necessary)docs in support of bonafide relationship (just that I did not send all of the docs).

Chennai is a breeze through if there are no red flags.

It sounds like you sent enough info with the intial petition. Sit back and relax.

Keep collecting the evidence and take it with you when it's time for the interview!

Good luck!
