As health reform moves to its final, make or break vote — I think it’s going to go through, but I’ll be hanging on by my fingernails all week — Republicans are still denouncing it as a vast, evil government takeover. But they have a problem: Obamacare is very much like the Massachusetts health reform, which was not only implemented by a Republican governor, but by a governor who is a serious contender for the 2012 presidential nomination.

So they insist that the two plans have nothing in common — but the only real difference they can point to is that Massachusetts didn’t fund its plan in part out of Medicare savings.

Of course, it couldn’t. But think about this a bit more: Republicans are saying that what makes Obamacare a socialist takeover, whereas Romneycare wasn’t, is the fact that unlike Romney’s plan, Obama’s plan cuts government spending.

Did you hear? Those "minor" changes that the House are proposing is now a 2300 page substitute bill. How stupid are these Democrats in the House? If they pass the Senate Bill, which was never intended to become law, the House is relying on the Senate to relent, and accept the House version, without modification in the Senate under reconciliation. How stupid do they think the Senate is?

I've asked before, but never really gotten a concise and understandable answer. What are the goals of the current health care build and what specific measures does it implement to achieve those goals? Nobody that I know is against health care reform in general. The system is clearly broken and needs to be fixed. But I don't hear any explanation of what this bill is and what it is designed to do.

Ok, I have my crystal ball out. Here is what is going to happem. It involves the word karma.

Barry, Harry, and Nancy will bribe some naive congressmen and get the last vote they need. Barry will sign it as quick as he can. Pop the champane, party time but...... whoaaaa. The problems start immediatly. Organizations and high priced lawyers backed by mega bucks stert filing lawsuits claiming the bill is uncontitutional (requirement to purchase insurance). The Supreme Court will have to rule on the issue. If one item in the bill is found unconstitutional the whole bill is void and nulled.

The people who will be making the decision are the same people Obama smacked down in the State of the Union Speech. Something they will not forget. I wonder how they will rule? Oh, I think Obama will be thinking karma is a #####.
