Hi...our NOA2 recently got approved after 3 months of waiting .

My question are...

~ Is it ok if I, the beneficiary will contact NVC to check if we already have our case number and give out our email addresses?

~ Does NVC Case Number and Manila Case Number all the same?

Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

I am convinced it is better if your parter (who is a U.S. citizen) emails them. In any case that is what we did! Good luck and let us know if they got your case because they have not emailed us yet. We got approved on the 8th March

Again, unless you give your email addresses to a NVC operator, they will not email you anything.

If you're planning on playing the postal game, then, good luck to you. I doubt you'll find anything in your mail box before 2-3 months.

The DS3032 MUST be mailed from the beneficiary's email address as it their choice of agent being appointed.

K-1 and CR-1s process VERY differently at the NVC stage.

Congratulations on your approval.

Yes, you can call NVC but I suggest to have your husband to make the contact, better and faster to get through them.

As far as I know...once our papers got approved at USCIS stage it will then forwarded to NVC and we can give them a call so we could get our NVC case number and give them out our email addresses so they can email us some forms.

My husband said he will be calling NVC on wednesday because he's busy at work. He asked me to try and call the NVC. Why not give it a try...I might get lucky! LOL.

I think you're right! It's too early to call NVC since our NOA2 has just been approved Mar. 11th.

Calling NVC early is not gonna hurt you. Give it a try, who knows your MNL case# is already assigned.

My husband called the NVC last night and was able to speak to an operator after being on hold for 9 minutes. According to them...it will take 90 days to get our case number. Wow ! That's way too long or maybe they're just reading scripts tellin' everybody about the standard timeframe?

Usual answer. It's usually 3-4 business days from your NOA2.

Sachinky is right...and base on our case, we've got our MNL case# assigned few days after NVC received the package.

Keep on bugging them until they give you the case#...LOL!
