Hello,

My husband received I12F approval notice last 2 weeks ago and told me that its on its way and hopefully I will have it within this week. Yesterday He called me that he got our I130 notice and was approved too. Now, he is confused on what to do since we have both approved. Can we dropped the I129F and go with the I130 how much do you think is cost. We though we still need to wait couple years before i can have my visa. anybody with same situation with us. Thank you

What is the approval dates for both the I-129F and the I-130? Were they both approved on the same day but you were notified on different days? If they were both approved on the same day then the I-129F is no longer an option for you as it will be administratively close if the I-129F reaches NVC with an approved I-130.

Yes, you can switch to the I-130 by simnply ignoring any correspondences regarding your K-3. Check out LingChe's shortcuts for the CR-1
