Hello friends.

I just came back yesterday from my trip. i was in pakistan visiting my wife and my new new born baby girl. It was out of the world feeling.

while i was there i went to US embassy and got my daughters US birth record and her us passport, so she is all set to come here.

when i cam back i saw a letter from USCIS mailed to me on feb 25th , asking me to provide proofs of bonafide marriage AND asking me to submit I864 for financial support. YES USCIS ASKING FOR i-864. my case is not approved its still with USCIS. I Thaught NVC needs i-864 from you NOT uscis?

I applied on 1st september 2009 and RFE generated feb 25 2010.

now the thing is for bona fide marriage they ask for bank statements with both names and blah blah... BUt the thing is she lives in pakistan and i live in US , we dont have any accounts together.all I have is pictures for wedding and pics after wedding. and for communication i use telephone cards and she calls me from magic jack, we never used land line , so have no record of that. I dont know what to send them because i dont have much to prove its bonafide. and it was arranged marriage.all i have is photos and marriage cert. which i did send in with package. i dont know what to do//

and about I864... why USCIS is asking for it??? i thaught NVC suppose to ask for it.???

after waiting for so long i get this stupid RFE. i am afraid they will deny my petition because i dont have much proof to send in for bona fide marriage.

what you guys suggest??? and what did you guys send in with I130 package to get it approved without RFE??? Thanx in advance for shedding some light .

Thanx friends.

Waiter, did you send in a cover letter or a timeline/relationship evolution letter stating that since it was an arranged marriage there isn't much stuff? Provide pictures. Phone calls. Your daughter's BC.
