July 3, 2006 when my fiancee receive the RFE., til now he's not finish working on it. He is asked to do for a waiver also.. a waiver for his previous petition to ex-fiancee and a waiver for his convictions.

One of my friend is saying that his petition for me will not be approved, because my fiancee's 2 conviction is very serious., and that will be a reason that they will not approved it., but we have plan B and C if this will happen.

question and pls. give any comments:

is it true that the petition will be denied if the petitioner has a serious convictions? we're both worried for it and we want to know if we will proceed to this or go to plan B or C.

thanx and god bless us all here!!!

I think no one can tell at this point whether a petition will be denied if the petitioner has serious convictions... You can just do your best at the waivers and wait. Good luck!

Unfortunately when applying for a waiver for multiple petitions I believe it is grounds for a denial depending on the crime. I believe you should seek an Immigration lawyer in preparing your waivers. I would get a lawyer for sure!!! please read the following:

http://www.online-dating-rights.com/pdf/IMBRA2005.pdf Scroll down to subtitle D- International Marriage Broker Regulation.

The waiver for multiple petitions may not be granted with history of a violent crime conviction

I am not a lawyer!!!!! you should seek a lawyers help!!!!!!!
