Another Canuck approved here -- our interview was in the Phoenix office and it was intimidating but quick. The officer was quite busy and was a rank and serial number kind of interviewer making it very clear she wanted to get through the file as quickly as possible. We were told by the security staff things were running late - we arrived at 9:45 a.m. as our interview was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. We were seen by our interviewer at 10:50 and were approved by 11:11 a.m. -- She was impressed that our presentation binder was very organized and passports on the table within nanoseconds of asking for our identifications. We had the financial comingling documents (three of them) to give her and that was the end of asking for documents. We left her some photos of wedding reception with family as well. Overall it was an efficient moment but there was no soft and fluffy element to it at all until we said thank you and offered our hands in a handshake. It was clear to me the interviewer was under a lot of pressure that morning as the room was pretty packed.

If anyone can offer guidance on how I may post this review I would appreciate it as every attempt has been met with "you must be registered'' when I click ''add a review'' (needless to say I am logged in)...

Incidentally, I got an email and a text message within 24 hours of our interview acknowledging the approval.

Best to all -- this is ''our'' year for more than just the Hockey wins!

Not sure about posting the review. The option was automatically there on my timeline when I posted last year. Is your interview date entered in your timeline? Maybe that's why it will not take?

OBX Congratulations!

Thanks OBX -- I have added interview to my timeline and when I click the ''review'' button it reads''must be registered''

(very odd)

Thanks for your speedy reply ( I reported this glitch yesterday to the 'VJ help' and nothing has been fixed yet)

Cheers

Congratulations! Captain Ewok, the site administrator, is the only one who can 'fix' this and he has been very busy this week so as soon as he has time he will be looking into it. He also has a full time job and does VJ on the side. i didn't want you to think you were being ignored. :)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks for your response Kathryn41 - I was hoping I could ''give back'' to the forum by posting info about the local office (if nothing else giving those in ''waiting'' mode something to read)!

I am happy to report that we were approved.

I will post a full review later but there isn't too much to report.

We got the letter A and the interview was approximately 3 minutes in total.

Just happy to relax now.

Can't say enough good things about VJ and how helpful everyone was during this process.
