Hi, all it has been such a long time since I posted last that I just wanted to say hi! I have been in the US for about 6months now which has gone so fast. Furiously missing home and all of those silly aussie things. People take themselves a little to seriously here. But I am in Cleveland and dont believe all the bad things you here because it is a pretty cool place to live. Cheap standard of living, which is important, and there is always plenty to do plus my first winter here has been pretty mild. I found a job as an industry analyst which is going smoothly and I have no need to worry about anything visa related for a while. Oh and most importantly being married is fun and fabulous. Hope you are all well. !!!!

2001: Met at an OZ university. He was an exchange student. Had a brief but memorable relationship.

Dec 2001: he returned to the US but we stayed in touch and said we would always remain friends.

Jan 2004: He came to visit me in Melbourne. relationship instantly ignited. it was very evident we were kidding ourselves if we thought we could part again.

Feb 2004: He proposed whilst we were vacationing in QLD

Feb 2004: He returned to US. We decided we would apply for a visa for him to come to OZ.

June: 2004. Went to states to visit

Aug 2004: his oz visa approved.

Sept 2004: reunited

April 2005: married

May 2005: applied for DCF so he can go to states to do PHD

June 20 2005: received interview date

July 18 2005: attended interview in sydney

July 21 2005: received visa in mail
