Hi All,

My wife and I have our interview on the 15th, and I'm going through all our documents to make sure things are in order.

The NOA says we'll need to bring a "Government issued photo identification." Will her Employment Authorization Card (which does have her picture) be used as ID?

Many of the things listed on the NOA (like our marriage certificate, birth certificate [and certified translation], my divorce documents, and etc) were already sent in with the original petition. Should I bring them again?

Thanks,

Z

Hi All,

The NOA says we'll need to bring a "Government issued photo identification." Will her Employment Authorization Card (which does have her picture) be used as ID? Bring EAD and AP because those were government issued, passport with I-94 attached.

Many of the things listed on the NOA (like our marriage certificate, birth certificate [and certified translation], my divorce documents, and etc) were already sent in with the original petition. Should I bring them again? If you made a copy of your adjustment of status packet, then bring the entire copy for just in case, alot of people here will disagree but I like to be safe then sorry...

Thanks,

Z

You should bring everything you have already submitted, with a copy of each. You may not need them, but it is better to have them. Anyone here can tell you that USCIS tends to lose things. You don't want to get an RFE at interview because they lost something you submitted and you don't have it with you.

Your wife should have a passport, yes? Bring that for ID. You should bring the EAD also, they may take it.
