0ld people do not like change. Just speak gently with her and agree with her even if you do not feel like it or she is flat out wrong. I have to do the same with my mom. Sigh.

Is anyone else having problems sending posts? Mine keep getting re directed to HOME.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I understand. Just ask Natty about my irritability. Seems it don't take much for me to either sob or get really upset.

She can't not do something and it stems from having to take care of her husband the last year of his life. I have even told her this but she doesn't seem to want to fix it.

It's the same with my mom, she can't sit down. From what I've learned it's a sort of depression, people feel useless after completing a big task and want to prove everyone wrong.

Next time we're in Jacksonville, Mal, what do you think of meeting up for coffee on our way up or down?

I got such a good puppy! I just taught him to go look for a ball so we can play. He totally understands, every time I say "ball" he's searching the whole house for one of those cheap tennis balls.

I'm so happy too that he recovered, Nagi! Would have been awful if it was something serious and required surgery. 1. It would have been expensive and we're saving for our trip to Germany (I know, sounds selfish, but I can't handle one more year without seeing my family and the chance of having a baby soon) 2. He wouldn't have been the same ever again and he is so playful and intelligent, it would have been a horrible time.

I don't understand, how is that being selfish? It sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
