How many copies of G325 A

I know that this question has been going on and on, but are people still submitting 4 copies of G-325A for I-130 and I-485? I know that in the new form only one copy is needed.... what do people generally end up doing?

Also, can we use binder clips to keep the forms and their supporting docs together? How do people generally do it?

AOS timeline:

1st March 2010 - AOS packet received at Chicago (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)
9th March 2010 - Checks cashed
12th March 2010 - All 4 NOA's received
19th March 2010 - Applications touched biggrin.png
19th March 2010 - Received Biometrics letter for 2nd April
2nd April 2010 - Biometrics done
19th April 2010 - Received interview letter for May 21st biggrin.png
6th May 2010 - All applications touched. Status of I-765 changed to document production, status of I-131 changed to post decision activity.
10th May 2010 - Received approved AP in mail
21st May 2010 - AOS Interview, IO said he will approve the case... waiting for Green card smile.png
27th May 2010 - Received EAD card
17th June 2010 - Approval notice for I-130 received. Also received "Welcome to USA" letter biggrin.png
28th June 2010 - Finally received my GC.... Praise be to God smile.png

16th March 2012 - Sent ROC package
21st March 2012 - NOA1 date
20th April 2012 - Received Biometrics letter for 16th May

December 2012 - Received 10 year GC

01 Nov 2013 - Sent naturalization package

18 Feb 2014 - Oath ceremony done, naturalization complete!!

I am sending in only one copy of the G-325A since on the USCIS website that is the current form. I am using binder clips as well.

One of my friend's just sent his I-130 package, and he sent only one copy of G-325A. I don't think he used paper clips but it shouldn't be a problem. He stapled the photos in a bag with G-325A for him and her.

CR-1/NVC
November 16, 2009: Sign-in Failed!!
November 16, 2009: December interviews already scheduled. Operator told me to wait for a possible January interview date. Call back in the 2nd week of December
November 30, 2009: Been trying to call NVC but line busy since late after noon. Finally, got email appointment letter from NVC with the Interview date of January 19, 2010. Yeppe Alhamdulillah>
December 24, 2009: Medical Done and report recieved the same day.
January 11, 2010: Medical submitted at VFS. They asked for: Copy of Packet 3, Appointment letter, and Passport. They told her to take a copy of I-864 and the documents submitted with it, at the time of interview with other proof of relationship documents.
January 19, 2010: VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 21, 2010: Visa recieved in mail (Package included passport with visa stamped, sealed big brown envelop to be submitted at POE immigration at the airport, and instructions to apply for SS Card)

USA
February 07, 2010: POE Chicago --> Very easy, within 45 minutes
March 02, 2010: SS Card recieved in mail. Welcome letter recieved in mail as well
March 13, 2010: GC Recieved in mail

January 29, 2015: N-400 Application submitted

We submitted one G325a for each myself and my husband. We received notification (from Toronto consulate - we filed DCF) to bring 3 additional copies.

The CO said the instructions for the form had changed several times (from the 4 page form, to the one page), and it now says to fill in one each, but they are still collecting 4 copies 'just in case'.

Thanks for all the responses... I did end up calling USCIS and the guy at their customer service asked me to send in 4 copies, so I did....

I called USCIS yesterday and the lady told me that the rule has changed and as for the updated G325A form, you only need to send one copy each for the Petitioner and the Beneficiery.

I asked her few times if they will generate an RFE for only sending one copy and she said, "No sir, you don't need to worry about the RFE as long as you send G325A with all the correct information."
