Here's what's going with me!

We mailed the RFE on March 18 --> received by NVC March 19. And still not entered into the system! The operators are still saying we still don't see your RFE entered!!!

I'm really puzzled, because that's the only thing holding my case :bonk:

As per NVC operators: DS-230 review has been completed!!!

I will re-send RFE today , so gets delivered again on Monday! Probably that's the best solution.

I don't know if what's caused this delay that we used the AOS barcode to mail the RFE instead of the RFE barcode!!

Doctor--My first RFE was never inputted into the system although an operator confirmed as it been under review. The second RFE with the barcoded letter was delivered and then inputted 3 days later into the AVR.

Do realize that this will most likely set you back by a week as it did for me.

This is my personal suggestion: If you have an AOS RFE, WAIT for the NVC to send you the email checklist letter before you respond to it and mail it out. Do NOT jump the gun with the AOS barcode. This is causing some problems for a few applicants.

So far, the DS230 RFEs seem to be okay with following the LingChe guides.

I believe there is a question on the I-130 petition regarding the Consulate where the beneficiary will be interviewed.

I can't remember what we wrote for it, or even if we did fill something out for it.

My guess is that NVC will appoint it according to place of residence.

North India--New Delhi.

East/West India--Bombay.

South India--Chennai.

I know some people have been succesful in getting their interview appointments changed to other consulate posts.

Ok, so assuming I'm going to get the RFE I'm anticipating sachi, I'll reprint the IV coversheet, change the ATTN line to DR and include my coversheet and documents, and I'll be able to send it as soon as I verify with NVC that I do indeed have an RFE? I'm pretty sure that NBI clearance is going to get me one :(

Kevin--

IF YOU CONFIRM WITH NVC THAT YOU HAVE AN RFE:

--IV BARCODED cover sheet you printed from the website, but when addressing your package, change the Attention line from "ATTN: CMR" to "ATTN: DR"

--Your own Cover Sheet listing the documents you're sending and reason.

--Include the documents missing or corrected based on operator suggestion and your own common sense.

Address it to:

The problem is not the AVR, its actually not even enetered into the system for review because they are saying we did not receive it yet!! They keep saying its probably still in the building's mail room!! Gosh! for 7 days!

I guess we will mail another RFE tomorrow so it gets there by Monday! hoping my case will be completed by next week.

I'm thinking the addresses could possibly be doing this.

Last night when I got that email with the barcoded sheet to send my AOS in (ha!), the address on it was totally different.

Hang on -- I'll try and look it up again on the pdf.
