Proof of On-Going Relationship: Different Mailing Addresses

Hi everyone,

My fiancée and I are (finally) in the process of gathering information for the I-129F application. We're on the 'proof of an on going relationship' part and I have a question about the copies of the letters we are planning on using. I will be using her mother's home address for the I-129F application, but since she lives at a different location, her address is different for the letters. Will this be a problem or do we have to mention somewhere about this discrepancy?

No, but there is not need for these documents now. For the initial filing, you only need the evidence of proof of meeting in person within the last two years part. The relationship evidence is required for the interview.

Ongoing relationship is documented at the consulate when your fiancee applies for the visa at the interview. You need only document meeting in person at least one time in the last two years for the petition. Addresses on correspondence make no difference. Correspondence is evidence of a relationship, it doesn't matter where the people live. Where does someone "live" when using emails as evidence? Many people use that.

I think I got confused too with the "proof of ongoing relationship" I give them detail phone billing and emails...oh well !
