The NOA1 should arrive within 30 days. I got mine last year two days after the submission. It's the notice of receipt. The NOA2 is the notice of approval. Just pray for that to arrive fast. It takes somewhere from 40 days to five months.

All the best for your journey.

Hakuna matata.

God bless us constantly.

Thank you but let me ask you how we know it? i mean where? do we need any tracking number? If so how we get to know that number?

Sorry, too many questions hahaha thank you and yup! We have our prayers on an smooth process ;)

The USCIS will send the U.S. citizen mails. :star: No need to be sorry. We all began from not knowing anything. You'll find yourself answering these questions to starters next time.

The US citizen will get the notice in the mail. There will be a receipt number on it (EAC if the petition was sent to Vermont or WAC if it was sent to California). You can use that to log onto the USCIS website and receive e-mail updates about your case

Good luck, congrats on filing!

That's right. You may use the receipt number (from the NOA1) to register here and check your case status online:

If you don't get updated online, don't fret. Some people's cases don't move online while others do. Just request your man to be diligent in checking his mailbox at home so whether you get updates online or not, you are still on track with your case.

Enjoy the process! :star:
