Hey Salsa

Been keeping an eye on the 2 packages that were sent to Moscow on the 15th and the 16th. It looks like the 2 pound package sent on the 15th was delayed a bit because of the volcano. It was routed thru Vitoria Spain ( where ever the hell that is ! )and then on to Leipzig. The 12 pound package sent on the 16th went from Cincinati directly to Leipzig after sitting in Ohio for a couple of days. Anyway, they are both at Leipzig now as of 1:45 pm GMT +1 .... next stop Moscow !

Anywho, just called the DOS number and my package left for the DR on the 14th!! Then the lady straight up tells me that the Dominican Republic is famous for long long long processing times and that I will be in for a long wait =( I already knew this but hearing it from her worsened the blow. Asi es la vida I suppose...

Jan. 12, 2011 - Biometrics Appointment (Strange but fine)

Jan. 13, 2011 - Transfer to CSC NOA received (dated January 7, 2011)

Feb. 9, 2011 - Email notification of a Decision: AOS Approved!!!!

Feb. 11, 2011 - Email notification Green Card in mail

Feb. 17, 2011 - Green card received!!!! The card wasn't green =P

Alriiiight! :) Got a touch yesterday - things are moving forward now!

Uhhhh....Linasaur, are you involved in Operations Research or maybe Industrial Engineering? It is absolutely amazing the way you have observed which dates are approved and which were bypassed and then created a perfectly plausible explanation as to the inner workings of CSC.

I'm repeating what I've seen stated in the VJ forum - if your explanation is the correct version, then I've learned something :]

Congratulations on your touch!

Btw. I originally mentioned the overlapping aspect of CSC approvals. My current theory about the inner workings of the CSC is that their standard operating procedure for approving our applications involve Oompa-Loompas, songs, dancing, stamping, approving, RFEing and mailing... :D

On an unrelated note, I emailed the Bangkok Embassy about 7:00 pm my time last night asking if Audy's I-129F petition has arrived at the Embassy. I got an email back about 35 minutes later stating that they had her case papers. We can send in Packet 3 and will get an appointment in 2-6 weeks. I am not finished with Packet 3 though.
