I was checking the copies of my papers and I realized that I had forgotten to send one of the pages(page 8). I wanted to know if anything similar had happened to anyone out there? Do I have to re- send all the papers, pay my fee again, or will they honor my application and just ask me to submit the missing form? If someone knows, please let me know.

If you have a immigration specialist on your senators staff as good a we have here in Hawaii. [senators Dan Inouye's]. I'd contact them. They/she has done some amazing things for me and friends here during the immigration process.

If not I'd get a Info pass apointment at your local USCIS office.

I print on both sides to save paper, but realized I screwed up on listing ALL of my wife's step children. So I sent in a new copy with that correction with a letter of apology to the same exact address we sent in the original application. At my wife's interview, they did receive that correction and it was part of her file. It doesn't hurt to bring in an identical filled out application as well.

With the free Adobe Reader now you can actually save your form and have the option to print all odd, then even pages. What screws me up with different printers, it's always page 1 that has to be on the top for the second printing. But with some printers I have, either page 1 plus the rest of the stack either has to be face up or down. I have both, so made a note on those printers, otherwise, I am printing both sides of the pages on the same face.

Didn't like that I had to print out the M-476 manual, couldn't find that book anywhere, but that saved 34 sheets of paper and could relax in my recliner when reading it from cover to cover with a highlighter for just what pertained to us. Wasn't very much yellow in those 68 pages.

Hi luisclus,

This is a type of question that is really good to ask in the actual forums rather than by private message.

It happens pretty regularly that people forget to include something in their application packages. As long as the majority of the information is there and the cheque is correct the usual thing that happens is you will receive a RFE - Request for Evidence - letter from the office that is processing the application. It will say exactly what is missing and give you a specific address to which to mail the requested information. You also need to include the RFE letter (make a copy for yourself before you do!). Don't try to send additional information without the RFE letter because it is virtually impossible for them to match up the new information with your file since they deal with so many applications every day. If it is something critical to the process, then they will just send back your whole application, including the uncashed cheque, and ask you to re-submit it with the necessary corrections.

For the citizenship application, it may be at the interview stage where they ask you for the missing information. Page 8 contains critical information for their decision. Be sure to bring the missing page to the interview if you don't receive an RFE or the package back, along with any supporting documents that are required by page 8 (court documents, police records, etc.).

I think it would be really good if you did post this question in the US Citizenship Forum. I can only answer based on my own experiences and general information I have seen in the forums, but you may find someone who has been in exactly the same situation by posting your question publicly and get a specific answer to your question.

Good luck.
