Slighty confused about # of passport photos

Alright, going for passport photos this weekend.

I need two to actually GET my passport (tsk. Bad girl. Haven't gotten one yet.)

I need to send one with my G-325a form.

Do I need any for the interview, or is it just the foreign fiance?

I believe the form says you need one pic, however I remember someone on this site getting an RFE because they didn't send two....

I sent in two of myself, and two of the USC.

I am not sure how many you need for the interview stage, but they will let you know when you get to that stage.

Actually the passport photo is to go with the petition, which the G-325A and other supporting documentation goes with. The G-325A doesn't call for anything to go with it.

I've never seen an RFE for only sending one. Most people send two just for good measure. But I've yet to see someone get an RFE to send more.

My mistake. The confusion came from the guides saying to place it behind the G-325a. Thou shalt not assume.

When it comes time for the interview stage etc. I believe it depends on the Consulate. Some require I believe one photo be sent back when you reply to Package 3, and then 2 more are needed for the interview (accourding to the checklist you get at the interview on how to organize the paperwork). At least I believe this to be correct for the Consulate in Rio.

sorry - no clue where to find it. It was ages ago. I remember the discussion around it though, was that the directions only call for ONE. (And my brain is like swiss cheese these days, so what is a dream and wahat is reality... who knows. )

When it comes to the visa interview, Craig will need some photos (made to US standards, NOT Canadian passport standards) -- 2 for his medical, and 2 for the interview itself. You, as the USC won't need any for that.

I never did either, unless someone found out that when the Service Center goes through the packet, they put the passport photoes with the G-325A forms... dunno

Well, worry about other pictures when you have to send them... Relax a bit! For now, all you need is ONE passport picture of you and ONE of your fiance. When the time comes for more pictures, the instructions will be in packets 3 and 4.

Write the dates they were taken and your names on the back of the pictures.

Thanks for the clarification Cassie, thats exactly what I meant, her fiance will need more photo's for the interview etc. portion. I didn't realize I left that out
