My wish is: each for their own, no interference, no free handouts, nothing. I have faith that any of these countries we look at as "poor" can do just fine without any western handouts or political interference and we should have more faith in them and leave them to live as they wish and not interfere.

Unfortunately, what happened to be a nice looking natural seaport where Port-au-Prince was built also just happened to be sitting on a fault. Back then those square rigged ship captains were looking for nice natural ports. And earthquakes were considered an Act of God. Seems to me, they would be better off to find a new port, or even built one. To rebuild Port-au-Prince is just asking for more trouble.

Really hate labels and people love to label that leads to stereotyping, one definition of a conservative is one that spends less money than what he has. A liberal can be one that is seeking a better way to live such was the case of our founding fathers with separation of religion from state and a government by the people. Radical new ideas at that time.

Our current two party system is nothing more than a dictator controlled corporation, either of their ideals go against government by the people. Independents either may or may not be the best looking people, but are far more, the most intelligent.
