I'm a weirdo and listen to random stuff.

Ensiferum, Tyr, Nightwish, etc. They're more or less in the Viking Metal Genre.

Mindless Self Indulgence. I dont suggest looking them up unless you don't mind songs about random #######

And some random Japanese songs.

I honestly dont remember. I havnt used it in about 3 months.

I'm still stuck to CDs. I made a mix CD yesterday (which was a bit more difficult, since most of my 850 CDs are packed away...just had 74 of them to draw from). It included the following bands:

The New Pornographers

Them Crooked Vultures

The Raconteurs

Shiny Toy Guns

Deftones

Bat For Lashes

Radiohead

TV On The Radio

The Delgados

Muse

Metric

And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead

Portishead

Making mix CDs is one of my favorite hobbies. I have a lot of music software from when I used to do more music production and composition, so I use it to really go into the .wav files and do basic mastering and a bit less basic editing. It keeps my ears well-trained. :)

Gonna go ahead and second that.

But then I've got a bunch of 70's/80's music on there.

And I'm a sucker for Rhett Miller. Like seriously.

I'm a country fool so most of my music is a mix of old and new country artists, from Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers to Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley.

You think? :) I can't count the number of times I've seen them! I even remember a time (way back...) when they played a union hall in St. Catharines.

Wow there's a lot of stuff out there I have never heard of. I'm really not that old. I need to broaden my horizons. Thanks for the input everyone!
