Medical examination

Hi,

Could someone explain what is the medical examination? Is it only like a regular visit to a doctor or do they ask more?

The medical consists of an x-ray to check for TB, a blood test, various medical questions, verifying your immunizations, quick checks of your blood pressure, heart rate, reflexes, etc. Some women have a peek under 'there' for visable signs of an STD but this does not seem to be common place.

The medical can only be preformed by a civil sergeon approved by the US embassy.
