K1 and K2 Medical at St.Lukes

Hi everybody I'm new here, I just wanna ask if anybody of you know the exact amount that have to be paid during the medical at St.Lukes, for K1 and K2(our baby turning 11 months old this Feb).Is the amount for children just the same regardless of age?cause most of the vaccines are already given to my baby,except for those that require a certain age of course.to add...My Fiance is from San Francisco California,he sent me in email the NOA 2 that he received,we thought for what we understand the next will soon be medical and interview appointment but then they send him another NOA 3,i don't know exactly what it is,but this is what it says..."THIS IS TO ADVISE YOU THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED THE ABOVE APPLICATION OR PETITION BACK FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE.WE WILL NOTIFY YOU OF ANY ACTION WE TAKE ON THIS CASE!."that's it..Do we have to worry about it?

I would appreciate any info and advices..THANKS in advance!GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Not sure if fees are same in all countries. Adults over 15 $100 USD, Children under 15 $70 USD. Vaccinations for us were a separate deal and not included in the fees above (Vietnam). Please fill in your timeline and country so others know the country and time frames involved. Was anything else received asking for additional information or anything. Typically after the NOA2, the beneficiary will next receive packet 3. After that is completed and returned to the consulate they would then send packet 4 which includes the appointment letter. Then you can schedule medical. Make sure start gathering all documents when you receive packet 3 (or before) so you dont have to rush around later.

I am from Philippines,,it cost more here for medical....thanks for the useful info,Yah i am almost done with everything that i will need for the medical and interview...another thing there are forms that have to be filled up in the Embassy interview,can i download them in the web and fill up in advance?just curious...

i just paid 10,027.00 in peso here in philippines... for my medical exam at SLEC.. for kids..its less..8,000 plus as i saw der when i cOme..me still at medical examinatiOn process ....

For packet 3 you will need to complete and return the DS-230 Part 1 (for VN we also had a DS-2001. For packet 4 you will have DS-156 (in duplicate) AND ALSO DS-156K (single copy) and they ask for another DS-230 Part 1 (we just had a copy made of the original from the previous packet). These forms are downloadable but must be completed on line and printed (they cannot be saved and continued later). We did them together as we chatted on IM so if any questions came up they could be answered and we both know exactly how the form was completed.

You should have nothing to complete or fill out at the Embassy. (Pay close attention to the forms above and only sign the ones that instruct you to sign. Certain forms must be signed in the presence of the Consular Officer.

Other than that, start gathering Birth Certificates (yours, childs, finace), get police report and or justice record, etc... as listed in your packet three.

thanks a lot...YES of course I hope for nothing but the BEST in our petition process...Not just for me and my fiance,but much more for our Growing little Kissandra,,who needs a father...a complete family!The last we been together is March 3rd-April9th,so long already and now our angel will turn 1 yr in 2 months time.."GOD IS GOOD"I have faith and I know we will be together SOON!
