Well, you shouldn't feel embarrassed whether you like Daniel Day Lewis in a school girl way or if you are a book nerd who likes to live vicariously through the story's hero because all of us have done it at least once in our lives.

I was just curious whether you actually looked like Daniel Day Lewis since you've never posted your pic. I thought maybe after all these years, you'd relax a little among us old timers and share with us. I personally would not ridicule you if you in fact don't even remotely look like Daniel Day Lewis, or even like the hero in the book.

It's funny that you are so being so defensive over a simple question. All these years you posted here and you've been meticulous about not sharing with any of the regulars anything about yourself. I understand the desire for privacy, but this is like going to a bar for several years, getting to know the locals inside, but never letting them know anything about yourself.

defensive ... far from it. I'm actually getting a chuckle out of your attempts to bait/belittle me. kinda reminds me that I need to instruct the twins when they are a few years older in dealing with people who exhibit this type of behavior on the playground

Relax, Brian. No one here is going to ridicule you if you open up a little once in awhile. Unless you are on the lamb or under a witness protection program, there's no rationale in being so meticulous about not sharing with other regulars here about yourself. Do you have any real life friends or do you tend to be an introvert?

that's his personal choice to reveal or not reveal any information about himself. and given some of the things i've seen on the internet, not just within vj, i'd say it's a wise choice on his part. now quit badgering him.
