I have been making $100K per year but my Line 22 on the IRS Tax form shows negative because I have been carrying forward losses from 5 years ago. I make good money now, but my line 22 is negative from loss carry forward. Can I still get K-1 approval? I can show liquid assets of $300K+.

I don't see why it should be a problem, if you own your own business, you must pay yourself a paycheck separately than the company, so use that as your salary on your support form. If you don't pay yourself a check, then you still have assets, that should be enough to take care of the problem. I don't think you have to make the minimum requirement as long as you have assets that are 5 times the requirement or something like that. With $100,000 a year, you have enough money to sue them if they give you trouble. Maybe you can pay $50 and ask an immigration lawyer what they think.

If you can show liquid assets of 300K you ought to be fine regardless of what income you show on line 22.

Follow the asset value documentation instructions in the form I-864 instructions as the I-134 instructions don't address this point.
