Biometrics: Only applied to I-485

My husband walked in a couple of weeks early for his biometrics appointment (day before Christmas). Several days later, the I-485 was touched, likely with the biometrics result.

I'm concerned because no other case was touched, when I would expect one other case (I think I-131 for AP) to be touched, as biometrics applies to both.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you resolve it.

If it hasn't happened to you, but you have suggestions, I'm all open!

When he went to the appointment, did he provide them with all 3 case/receipt numbers? (If so, I wouldn't be terribly concerned.)

The biometrics appointment letter mentioned two cases. There, the lady gives you a sheet to fill out & return to her. On the sheet there, there were two lines to put your case number(s). We put the one for the I-485, but forgot to put the other one. When he brought it up to the counter at the biometrics place, the lady added the other one, but left out the first part of the case # and only put the numbers that differed from the I-485 one.

So I wonder if, due to the different color ink/handwriting or missing leading numbers, the second case was overlooked somewhere along the way.

Did she type that into the computer/system? After I filled out the form, the clerk typed everything into the computer and had me check for any mistakes while she typed.

Cheers..

Steven (my husband) doesn't remember if she typed it into the computer when he brought up the form. She definitely didn't show him anything & ask him to check it.
