Hi guys and gals,

Merry Christmas to all vj family. Hope Santa was good to y'll. :-)

My fiance has been in States for 2 weeks now and we are thrilled to be together. We will be getting married (civil) in a week or two but I have several questions about AOS. .

1. What kind of form needs to be filled out?

2. My fiance got 1-94 at POE and it expires in March 2010. If i apply for EAD will that new EAD also expire when 1-94 expires?

3. When you go to see civil surgeon what kind of documents do they ask for and what is the fee? My fiance lost his immunization card but he has note from the Dr that has list of vacination but it doesn't have the date. Do surgeon requires date on when my fiance was vacinated? (Vacination is not required in India when filling for k-1 visa.)

4. If my fiance starts working in January because his 1-94 expires in March, does he continue to work until he receives temporay green card or does he quit when his 1-94 expires?

Thank you very much.

2) yes, if you even get it before March. Temp EAD can take upwards of 90 days to receive

3) varies hugely so call around

4) Does your Fiance have EAD for January? If not, how will he "work"?
