Hi,

I am the beneficiary of a family based petition with a current priority date. I am currently on an H1, about to apply for AOS. Filling out form G 325 A, there is a 21 day gap between jobs I held while on H1 (resigned from employer on 09/09/08, new employer filed transfer on 10/01/08).

In the employment record, does this gap have to be mentioned specifically, or should I just go ahead and put 09/08 end for employer1 and 10/08 start for employer 2. Are there any problems with mentioning the period (with dates) as unemployed?

Really puzzled and this ones holding up the application for me. Any information would be helpful

Thanks!

there will be no issue... don't worry...

Ok thx.. but should I go ahead and mention it, or will it not be required.

Really month and year are sufficient for the form. So one job ending 09/08 and the next beginning 10/08 is fine. Also it is fine to list the exact days and list the "gap" as unemployed. List it how you want, it is not an issue to concern yourself with.
