Looks like it probably won't be since Thailand has already or may soon ban e-cigarettes, according to some articles I read.

It's astonishing that a country in which prostitution is a large chunk of the GDP, banning electronic-cigarettes is a priority. But this is what is happening all over the globe as tax revenues from tobacco products must be protected at all costs.

Hey guys, I had to chime in on this one as I have seen these e-cigs up close and personal and watched someone close to me try to convert from over a pack a day habit to e-cigs. Short answer: don't do it! :wow: Long answer: these things can cause major heatlh problems if used incorrectly! Since its smokeless, it tends to be difficult to gauge how much you've inhaled and over time can cause extreme dizziness, erratic heartbeats, sleeplessness and all sorts of other anxieties. I've heard of many people overdosing on the nicotine and causing other issues. He was in urgent care twice due to the thing before he finally threw it away. The other issues they had were that the oil was difficult to add in and if not held correctly, the oil leaks from the e-cig and can stain clothes or pants. That and constantly charging it wherever he went.

The good news is that it did cause him to quit completely as the thought of nicotine went from a being desirable one to one associated with nausea due to the whole ordeal. I suggest Commit lozenges...I had a great experience using those over the gum a few years back!

Icarus, it's possible to have a bag e-cig or just smoke it wrong. I have read similar experiences in e-cog forums and most found ways to fix those issues.

For me, it is looking like I won't be doing this for my brother-in-law as he thinks it is too complicated and too expensive. We'll bring over a supply of The Patch and see if that helps him.
