I'm still waiting for Friday  What crappy weather we've been having and there's still more on its way. I'm ready for another vacation, i want to go where the sky is blue and the sun is always shining. Looking out the window is just depressing.

You know Maureen, in the middle of the night (around 2 am) there was snow on the ground. I noticed around 5am it had all melted. Crappy weather, indeed.

Happy Hump Day, Everyone!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I know, i fell asleep last night around 730pm ( can u believe that, i was tired) but woke up during the middle of the night and saw everything was covered in snow and then when i got up in the morning, no snow, just rain. I guess maybe i should pick up some bags of salt today, nothing like having a skating rink for a driveway.

I really hope the roads arn't salted. That ####### all over the car makes me sick.

Good morning! Week seems to be going by ever sooo slow! Happy Wednesday to everyone.

Mornin' Maureen, Nagi, and Tammy!

Chilly temps here. A few clouds today and then some rain for a couple days! We are having some snow in the mountains. Beautiful!!

Annie, we also had alot of windy weather, but no power outages. Loved the dreary weather tho!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning MENA--Maureen, Jeanne, Nagi, Tamara!

I hope everyone is doing well. It is warm here this morning, about 70, but it is supposed to get down in the 30s tonight and the rest of the week...seriously hate the cold! And for a lot of you 30s is probably warm right now. :) Hubby is at day 3 of working at the gas station & last night he finished his In Home Aide class at the community college. I am proud of him. :)

Take care everyone and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Good morning!

BRRRRR!!!! Ok, I'm going to sound completely stupid here but I still cannot figure out how to program my thermostat. I have followed the directions and still it just keeps doing the initial program. In the winter that means that in the middle of the night the temperature jumps down to 62 degrees. My feet are soooo cold! I get up and turn it up and come downstairs and then around 6am it jumps back down and we start over again. I'm about ready to pitch the whole thing.

Other than that, it's a fine morning. Back to school today after two days at a workshop. It'll be a rough day getting the kiddos to readjust but we have finals next week looming so hopefully that will help.

Everyone have a great day!

Amanda, glad to hear that hubby is working, how is he liking it? 70 deg, wow! and then it jumps down to 30 deg, that's quite a climate change there.

Vanessa, those digital thermostats can be a pain, does it happen to be on a timer for the heat to turn down?

Morning Jeanne!im sure snow is a beautiful sight when you don't feel the coldness. :P

No salt on roads as of yet, just got back a bit ago from my daily bus runs, roads are just wet.

Thank G-d.

Yes, hubby is liking the job. I think he is glad to get out and be doing something different. These first few days are a little overwhelming for him...he has a lot of things to learn! And yes, North Carolina weather is crazy like that especially around the season changes. One day you are in shorts and the next you are bundled up in a jacket & scarf!
