Foreign documents required for marriage in US

After being approved for the K-1 visa ( ), what documents (in addition to the visa documents) should my fiance bring along with her so she has everything she needs to marry me here in the US?

She was never married before. Does she need some sort of proof from her country of her unmarried status? (Translated? Notarized? By whom? Where?)

Does she need a medical certificate (from here or there) issued within a 14-day period before the marriage?

We want to make sure of everything before she leaves Romania!

This will depend on where you get married. For us, the passport was enough. Check with the issuing authority where you will get the license

Here in Florida they told me that she just needs her passport or picture form of ID. I asked them so later on we won't have any problems. We are still waiting on the K-1 Visa but wanna be prepared. Maybe if you post your State it will help address your issuse.
