Hello fellow members,

I sent the RFE documents and was worried that the copies i sent them are all in black and white when the originals are colored.

I went to Office Max and have my original documents photo copied since my scanner is not working but then Office max personnel said they don't copy colored original legal documents coz it is illegal.

My question is..is black and white copy of documents okey? The original documents are colored like the RFE notice is blue, the NSO birth certificate is yellow but all they gave me were black and white...now am starting to worry..would this be okey?

I would appreciate any info.

No problem. No need colored photocopies of anything.

Opps! I guess pictures would be an exception.

If they are asking originals or certified copy of the originals, you have to send them what you obtained from the issuing authority. That's what happened to me on my DS230. I received an RFE for that and I had to ask my mom to send me asap what she had gotten from the NSO. I sent it back to NVC the originals (blue colored in NSO paper) and my case has been complete as of Monday..

Regular photocopies... if they wanted color copies (or on colored paper) they would have indicated so...

FWIW, unless the AO is extremely familiar to the PI, how would they even know the NSO is on yellow?

NVC will ask for "originals"... USCIS does not (typically)

YMMV
