I just got an email that my EAD card production has been ordered! So happy finally. I hope it gets here before the 15th because we are moving... However no interview notice yet! Btw do you get an online update when your interview is scheduled, or is it just the mail?

I just got mine in the mail. I went agggggges without any touches on the USCIS website as well. it wasn't until I got the emails/texts did it change

Got the interview letter in the mail today..Interview date is set for 30 Mar !!! Its such a relief...I am due with my first baby on 13 April and was hoping to finish my interview by then...........

Indeed, my I-485 and I-130 online case status is still stuck in December, back when they first sent out the NOAs. And I received my interview notice in the mail about two weeks ago...

AOS:

12/05/09: Sent AOS package to Chicago lockbox.

12/11/09: USPS reports delivery of package.

12/16/09: I-485 check cashed.

12/17/09: I-130 check cashed.

12/19/09: Received four NOAs in the mail (dated 12/15)

12/28/09: Received biometrics apt. letter for 1/8/10

01/04/10: Walk-in biometrics done (Santa Ana, CA)

01/26/10: Received interview letter for March 10

02/05/10: EAD card production ordered & AP approval notice sent, both arrived in the mail shortly thereafter

03/10/10: Interview and approval for cond. GC

03/11/10: Status update "Card production ordered"

03/16/10: Welcome letter in the mail

03/22/10: GC in the mail!

With the exact same wording (bar the date) that I got last week... weird.

"Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On February 23, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Grats on the AP/EAD... I had to laugh about this... My husband got his pictures taken at CVS.. and they are so messed up. It cracks me up just to look at his picture. I totally understand the not wanting to show them off.. I think Kyle will be hiding his EAD if it has the picture on it. lol!

First email means they sent it for production. Second email means they mailed it.

AP 2 copies must be used in travel. They keep 1 copy at the point of entry. The other one is returned at interview. Dont travel on AP after interview it royally delays your green card production (it screws up their computer)...

Dont travel on AP after interview it royally delays your green card production (it screws up their computer)...

So what if one has to travel after the interview but before receiving the green card? There's a good change that could be the case for me...

Kyle's I-765 has been approved! We got the text and email just now! I know it'll take a week or so to get it, but I'm so happy he can really start looking for jobs!!! Living off just a teacher's income is no fun!
