I am having some trouble with my co sponsor.. They are confused about a few things and I am trying to get proof for him.. We are having our interview in Casablanca and they dont require having the I-134 but we are getting on anyways... We are sending in W-2s for the last three years, letter from employer, last 3 paycheck stubs, birth certificate.. He believes he must have his bank statement included too, but Im sure I have been told here before that its not required if he makes enough income to be sponsor.. Is that right? If so then all he has to put on the I-134 is his income.. No bank info or assets... Any help is really appreciated! We are running out of time :unsure::unsure:

First; I hope, with the W-2's, letter from employer and recent pay stubs that you plan to include copies of the tax returns for those years. You would need to.

Second; If a sponsor (or co-sponsor) is not listing banking information, assets, etc on the affidavit of support (usually done to offset any shortfall in income) then he/she does not need to include any supporting evidence for them. In other words - if the sponsor's (or co-sponsor's) income is sufficient, he/she doesn't need to fill in the optional areas (for bank accounts, assets, stocks/bonds etc), nor any evidence for them.

On the other hand - which ever fields they complete, they must include supporting evidence. So if they list a dollar amount in say, the section asking about bank accounts, then he/she would need to support that number with evidence proving it.

 Definitely include the tax returns. If his income is higher than the poverty requirements no need to include the bank statements.
