For a couple of weeks now, my wireless router was losing my internet connection and the only way I could restore the connection was to unplug the router and plug it back in. I was trying to figure out why and today I did a System Restore back to a date right before this problem started....and so far, no lost connection.

Has anyone else been having connection issues with their wireless router within the last couple of weeks? I'm running Vista.

Happened to me with my old linksys.

Only way to fix this issue was get a new router.

I am sticking with a wire, at times, I can log into my 200' away neighbors wireless, but not reliable enough to get a good signal. Then the guy has the nerve to turn it off when I want to use his.

Did get a wireless because my wife thought she would like to lie in our bed and chat with me like we use to a long time ago. We found out we could do other things in bed. The only room in my home I didn't wire for LAN. But have to admit that security stuff in Vista almost drove me nuts, maybe it did, and I am not realizing it.

Ever see an unmarked white van parked in front of your dwelling? If I had wireless and they were there, would die of pure boredom.
