Faxing information to Guangzhou China embassy

Help please, has anyone faxed information to the China Embassy in Guangzhou?

I NEED TO KNOW if they send a "CONFORMATION" that they received the fax?

also I have two numbers for the fax does anyone know which one is correct?

86-203-884-4412

They both go to a fax machine when calling them, does it matter which one I use?

203 doesn't look right for city code for Guangzhou - should be '20'

Rarely is a confirmation fax sent back. If your fax requires action or an answer, then you MIGHT get an email back (if you included your email address)

IMO, faxes never receive 'same day attention', and get put in a queue for answering.

I emailed the Guangzhou Embassy 4-days after I sent the fax asking if they received it. I got a reply 4-days later stating that they did. (I was surprised they answered so (fast).
