Ok, I was reading the AOS guide and fees, and I have a question. If we are under the K1 and K2, is the cost $1010, or is it $1610?

I was a little confused about it. Any clarification would be great.

Also, if we are filing for a travel permit, then do we pay the fee for that at the same time and mail them to the same place?

Thanks.

K-1's I-485 = $1,010

K-2 if under 14 and submitted concurrently with K-1's I-485 = $600

K-2 if under 14 and filed after K-1's I-485 then $930

K-2 over 14 = $1,010

If submitting I-131 and/or I-765 with or after I-485 then no fee

AOS includes EAD and AP, there is no extra cost for AP or EAD if you file them at the same time as the AOS application.

a PARENT/ one person adult pays 1010$ aos fee.

For a child under the age of 14 who is filing to adjust status in conjunction with a parent doing the same, the cost for that child is $600.

Your cost for 1 adult and 1 child is 1610$.

Ok, so I can mail it all together then, both apps, the work permit, the travel permit, and 2 checks. One for $1010 and one for $600..

WOW.. they really stick it to you don't they.. oh well.. It is worth it.

I have heard it is about 90 days for the travel permit. I am guessing the travel permit covers both parent and the child?

If you guess it will get you in trouble, as each will require there own AP document... so you will submit an I-131 for you and one for the child
