I am missing my spouse today. It is so hard to be apart. I know we are one of the lucky ones so far since our visa journey is racing along. I guess it is just a blue day. I miss him. I hate living like a single parent. Enough of the pity party for now.

Hang in there tysalanna, this will all be done before you know it. Separation is hard, especially when there are children involved, but try to keep your chin up and look at the positives. Only a couple more months and you won't have to deal with the pain ever again.

The waiting is terrible, yes. And even worse for you, I'm sure, as I find it bad enough to be without my fiance... somehow, missing my spouse always seemed unbearable to me.

At least you can rest assured that there are many other people here who feel your pain, and are more than willing to offer sympathy.

I am really feeling your pain today tysalanna. It was so hard to say goodbye to Sean yesterday. I'm ready to be with him already. I know we are getting close but the time apart has been so hard and it's not over yet.

As for the single parent thing- I agree it's so hard. I've been a single mom for almost 5 years now and it is just the absolute hardest burden to bear all by yourself.

It's been said a few times, and I don't mean to rain on your parade, but truly....after you've got the visa, and moved down, it doesn't seem like anytime before all of this waiting, and anxiety seems to fade. Really!!!
