Due to hurricane Ida, I had to reschedule Mohammed's Bio appt. in New Orleans. The guy said, if I didn't get a new appt. in 30 days to call back. I received this today from the California Service Center:

The status of this service request is:

Your case was transfer to the California Service Center on 11/12/2009 for processing; as soon as they reach a decision on your case you will be notify by mail. Please allow approximately 90 days for completion before submitting additional inquiries. Thank you for your patience.

Does this sound right to wait for 90 days? The guy told me 30 and then call them back. Since it was transferred to California will there still be a Biometrics Appointment? I was hoping we'd not have to wait so long for his GC, but at this rate, if the Bio can take up top 3 months we got a good wait ahead of us. :(

I was checking your signature and it says on 11/10 AOS interview....

Definitely the biometrics have to be taken so yes, they should send you a new bio appointment.

I would wait 45 days and then call back...Sorry about the delay...

Yes, you still need biometrics. You will likely not have an interview. Make an infopass appointment and get your biometrics done. This transfer letter has nothing to do with biometrics.

Just to clarify : did you have your AOS interview already but no bio appointment?

No, the cancelled appt. was the only one he received and it was a Bio appt.

Jolie

make an infopass appointment, bring your receipt from the AOS and your original biometrics letter and they will do the biometrics.
