CO2 has always been a pollutant. A natural one and an artificial one. A gas guzzler hardly qualifies as a natural artifact.

Granted, things are getting cleaner. I wonder why.

For the Al Gore fixation, who knows, who cares (other than those with an anti-Gore hard on, that is), and good for him if he is making money off of something others are likely. Like, for example, those providing that same innovative ('green') technology in the energy sector, for one. You betcha.

As for political traction... again therein is the difference between actual knowledge and the political traction of a nation in an economical distress. Shame on you for losing that wide difference.
