:lol::dance::devil::thumbs::yes::dance:

it worked!!!

(thanks for the laugh William!)

With respect to your situation, I have to admit you have a pretty good attitude about it.

As I read your post, I had just taken a sip of my drink, which then sprayed all over the computer!!!:lol::lol:

Thank you, William.

It is tough reading through threads with people complaining about their case when they just filed in May/June. Sometimes I want to say "How about a nice tall glass of Shut-the-F**k-Up" but that wouldn't be very nice, now would it?

Joseph22,

A good point indeed. Would you not agree that RFE's should have been sent in the following order:

1.) Embassy Recalls

2.) January

3.) February

And so forth?

This, evidently did not happen. As I saw the initial RFE received posts stacking up, irrelevant of any logical dates, I was and remain discouraged.

Bottom line, this sucks.

If that were even possible, I would surely do it, based upon principle alone.

For the folks like you that have had this kind of disservice from USCIS, I sympathize, this is simply deplorable treatment. I really hope you get squared away soon.

Hi All,

Just read through this and thought I would offer up some perspective.

We are one of the recalled cases. His interview should have been July 18th. I do not have an RFE yet.

Can I trade with one of you RFE'd NOA1's?

Thank you, William.

I'm with you darling!..my sentiments exactly.

Frustration is just getting the best of all of us!

We'll get through it!

Time will tell I suppose.

However, if we begin to see floods of April, May, and June NOA1's pouring out of CSC within the next few weeks before March ones, simply because they were a day or 2 apart on RFE receive date, those affected should rightly be furious. (Considering the bulk tied up at CSC...that type of scenario could be totally devastating timewise to early NOA1's). Someone MUST have considered this if they went ahead with this RFE recieve date nonsense. At that point, it wont matter to me what anyone thinks about how to unload the entire backlog....it will simply be insulting, and I think those affected will respond.

I wonder...does CSC know VJ exists? Do they know how closely we follow their actual output?

If this situation were to unfold, they might harshly realize it!

As you can tell, I'm angry.

Well, I guess I am in a "good" situation here. (If anything in this clusterf##k can be called good) I have an early NOA1 (march 14) and my RFE got back among the first batch (July 6). I hope the senators haven't been lied to. Lets see what the next few days bring. I am ready to get out of the USCIS lower level of hell and move on to the Manila Embasy's version of hell!

I never got around to formally updating it...

NOA1 is March 22. Got the RFE on June 28th, and sent it back June 29th.

Post office receipt - recieved at CSC on June 30th. USCIS email stated they recieved it on July 5th (strange huh?)

And thats it so far.....

GaryC,

Best of luck to your Sir. I hope you two are among the first approvals.

Well, that is cool. We share the same date of NOA-1...Good stuff. It is almost the same as sharing the same birthday!

Good luck joseph22.

Let me say up front that I haven't read through the whole thread.

But I think one thing we all know for sure without any debate or argument. RFEs SHOULD have been sent out first in order of NOA date. Of course there would have been people who couldn't return theirs overnight or super fast - many of us were traveling. But the majority would have been returned fast, and then those petitioners could have been processed in order of NOA date. I certainly don't think the idea of putting aside later March dates, for example, until they received all the early March date RFEs would have been doable - espeically since they were completely unable to turn around the recalled petitions first like they should have.

But if they had sent RFEs in batches according to NOA date, they would have been able to preserve the order to some extent. Then people who filed in June would not have gotten their RFE before people who filed in March. Why they couldn't figure out a way to do this is beyond my comprehension.

Also, GaryC, unfortunately I think we know now that senators will were indeed lied to or at least given only half the information. After all, the majority of senators were told, from what we've seen here, that RFEs were sent out on June 23. Not one reported back to us that the FIRST batch was being sent on June 23. They simply said that was the date they were going out. And of course, they didn't all go out then.

What worries me now is what will happen next. CSC finally sent me an email (well, their standard 3 copies of the same email) that they received my RFE on July 20. Since I received it in July 12 and sent it back two day federal express, I know they received it on July 14. What they meant to say, clearly, was they finally got around putting my RFE into their system on July 20.

So what does that mean now? I have at minimum 30 days to wait and most likely, I think, 60 days to wait. Which puts my March 23 petition approved, god willing, by September 20. Five to six months to do what VSC can do in less than 2 months, even these days. That's the part that irks me the most. The discrepancy between what each service center can do is incomprehensible. Then again, given the way they handled the whole thing has proven to all of us that they don't have a clue.

Funny how now I just can't wait to enter the hell of the consulate in Mexico!

OK, I believe I'm done for now : )

Kitkat1,

I believe you have captured the essence of the entire thread in one post, without actually reading it all, and I did!! Very well done.

I, as many others, share your concerns about the next step, albeit in different countries. They all vary, as we know.

I just need to say Thank You, for summarizing our thoughts in one collective post. A sharp individual you are. Cheers!!

Since I have been involved with this visa process, I have witnessed one screw up after another. When I first started, the TSC was taking 250 days and beyond to do anything with petitions. Then the CSC was cited for shredding entire application packets. It just never ends, the government incompetence and lack of accountability astounds me. I have worked closely with government agencies so this is no surprise but the USCIS is probably government bureaucracy at its absolute worst. I am almost done with this mess for a while but have a friend waiting for the CSC to approve his application so he can endure another 5-6 months of waiting for the Manila nightmare to end.

Marilyn and Peter.

Yeah, I don't know where to find the link, but it happened a couple of years ago...

The first time I filed, it took 8 months to get through the Nebraska service center. That was in 03, and was par for the course.
