yes, any document not in english needs to be translated.

Hi yall I was wondering do documents need to be translated in English ? since interview is going to be in CDJ in Mexico Im in the stage of sending the DS-230 to NVC.

You are not yet dealing with CDJ.... NVC is in New Hampshire... they will want it translated

This is what I was talking about found it on the US department web page

Translation Requirements

All documents not in English, or in the "official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made" must be accompanied by certified translations. since this is going to be in CDJ

it has to get processed at the NVC before going to CDJ.

Will NVC accept photocopys of translations of marriage certificate and birth certificate of my wife(beneficiary) since the since the original translations were sent to USCIS

You need to find out but normnally if NVC wants originals then that is what they need...

FWIW, The USCIS did NOT require originals....

YMMV
