Ok. I thought I was ready to go for my medical next week but...someone told me (not from VJ- K1 visa applicant and just finished her medical thurs/fri) that

I need to show the guards at SLMEC a letter from USEM if not they won't let me in. How true is this? I thought appointment letter from NVC or NOA2 are the only documents needed for the medical? And, is there any more fees before the interview (in Manila) for CR visa applicants after paying $470 during NVC? Thanks everyone.

SLEC will ask from you the appointment letter send to you by USEM.Not sure about the letter from NVC. You have to pay for your medical and if you are from outside Manila. you can also have your PDOS seminar as well.Good luck.

Well, if you already pay the IV bill you don't have to pay at the embassy during the interview just the visa delivery fee, then at St. Lukes you need to bring with you your Appointment letter from NVC then payment $213.35 then 4 pieces 2x2 id picture. yuo just have to walk in there and have your medical exam, just be sure you don't have your period during medical they wont entertain you there. then they will guide you when you are inside the clinic.

Hmm, clearly policies in Manila differ with that of other countries. Bumrungrad Hospital in Thailand didn't ask for an interview letter. In fact they confirmed our immigran visa exam via e-mail without asking for anything related to the petition!
