I'm just curious to know if anyone here has done the St. Luke's medical examination in the Manila? If so, can you please name every single thing that the examination conducted? My fiancee is convinced it's a full body physical, but I thought maybe it's a blood test and a few other things.

Hi There! I've been to St. Lukes last Nov. 5, 2009. I did advance medical. Your fiancee is right its full body physical. In first day of medical you under go for vital signs, X-ray, urine test and Blood test, the last is physical examination. You need to take off all the clothes you wear but they allow you to wear a gown so you will not naked to face the doctor then she will check your fiancee privates anything doctor do but it takes 5mins. Then the second day you will know the result if you passed you going to immunization if you did not call for immunization mean you need to do laboratory again. Good luck to your Fiancee. God Bless

Thanks for the info. My fiancee does have a question though. She had a bicycle accident years ago and had some of her back teeth damaged. She has had a few pulled but some of her back teeth are decaying ane need work. Is this something the St. Luke exam is going to look at ? We just got approved for the petition..about how long will it be til the medical exam? I'd like to see her get her teeth done soon anyway to be safe.

Also, she said she has a small problem with hemmoroids. Big or small deal?

They're looking mostly for contagious diseases that would make her inadmissible to the US, like tuberculosis. They won't care about her dental problems or hemorrhoids.

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

Ditto!

Have her do the medical as you get her MNL number from NVC. She only needs the MNL #, the NOA2 approval notice, passport, 4 passport pics to get in. Have her make a copy of her PP as they will take it and she won't get it back until after her USEM interview.

Have her get her teeth fixed in PI. LOT cheaper.
