Not only is it raining almost on a monsoon level, we have 40-50mph winds. So walking back from my car after lunch, the rain is hitting you horizontally, my entire back and back of my pants is soaking. To top that off, got a gust of wind just as I got to the door that knocked me down and snapped my awesome umbrella. :(

I think I remember you saying that you were in L.B., aren't they getting hit the hardest with this?

I live in the San Pedro area, but am stationed closer to L.B and yes, we're getting slammed with these winds right now.

That's crazy (but believable) that you were knocked down! Hopefully you didn't get hurt

Just my pride <_<

We live near Palos Verdes, near the bottom of a corridor of hills that makes it a wind tunnel in times like this. From what i've seen, the storms next week are supposed to be even worse.

I'm down in Santa Ana now and the winds and rain have been crazy here too, though I've heard that some areas around LA are definately being hit harder. There were a few area's down here on Tuesday where people had to abandon their cars because they couldnt get through the puddles at the intersections. I'd like to know how to turn this rain down! Just a nice easy stream would be wonderful.

I am tired, sore, and grumpy.

That is all.

So I have to ask...... why are you tired, sore, and grumpy Varba?

Carefully tread, too much of this will open up a black whole and shallow us all.

I hait that I'm too late for this pottie.

Have you been abducted by aliens at any time during the past 6 months?

or you may find yourself in another part of the world... or behind the wheel of a large automobile... you may find yourself in a beautiful house... with a beautiful wife... and you may ask yourself well... how did I get here?

whereami.jpg

Indeed!

You have obviously not read this book The Arc, the Arcans and Man

Actually - this was written by a man in Calgary - he advertised in the paper for someone to edit his book (English was not his first language), long story short - that was me. I know the book very well because I had to read it and re-read it :crying:

Oh, cool, Trailmix! So tell me.... is this a book you would read again?

Remove the water

Carry the water

Remove the water from the bottom of the ocean...

...You may ask yourself

Am I right?... Am I wrong?

You may say to yourself

My God!... what have I done?

I'm guessing drugs were involved in the writing of those lyrics.

Its optometry tech/office clerk i'm super excited. i'm convinced the only way she called was because she's not from the us herself and us immigrants must stick together lol she has a heavy accent but i can't place where it is from

Oh yay! Good luck, Beans!

Wow. There was a gust of wind here this morning that knocked over a tractor trailer. :o I bet that was exciting. lol
