Beck is the lone voice of reason just like the Lone Ranger. What a hero!

Actually, I have finally met someone in real life who believes that to be true - I was gobsmacked!

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

yesterday on Fox they did say she took that position as interim because she wasn't sure how long she would stay

You mean, her knees didn't start quivering when Glenn Beck demanded her resignation? There goes democracy.

This is fine. They are concealing that Gleen Beck had anything to do with it. Great. The longer you believe that, the more effective Glenn Beck will be. Denial benfits the opposing and their is nothing better than an advesary that is a dumb@ss. Fra be it from me to give liberals effective political advice. They seem to be self-destructing nicely...and I HOPE you still deny that. In fact, I urge you to do nothing, deny everything and to change nothing and continue as you are until beyond the 2010 elections.

You give the pundits far to much credit and clout. She took the job on an interim basis, plain and simple. Whether you believe it or not is not my problem.

Who are you kidding, can you name me one person in politics who is not on a temp time table?

I'm sure she's off to a more "fulfilling" job roll somewhere else.

To be fair, i've met some people who think Keith Olbermann would never distort the facts.

Come on Danno, lets use some facts now. She was from the onset taking the job on a temporary position. This is not something hush hush, it was declared when she took the position. I suppose all employees work on an "at will" basis and are subject to termination or resign at any time, but how many of them begin with the official tag "interim" in their title? From what I read, she's going back to a much much better paying job anyways, so whats your point there?

Who?

A very nice person, does our accounts. I like her, despite this glaring fault ;)

Of course, I know it's not confined to one side as it were - but the Beck phenomena is quite extraordinary, only he dare utter the truth, the government is trying to silence the people. It's odd to listen to someone saying that is all.

So Anita Dunn said that communist mass murderer Mao Zedong was one of her favorite philisophers. That is definitely over the top. Why is it that Obama seems to be a magnet for these flakes? This isn't the first and only.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Wow, peejay...I always thought you were more of a critical thinker...not easily gullible to what people like Beck say...

Anita Dunn:

"The Mao quote is one I picked up from the late Republican strategist Lee Atwater from something I read in the late 1980s, so I hope I don't get my progressive friends mad at me," Dunn told CNN.

As for Beck's criticism: "The use of the phrase 'favorite political philosophers' was intended as irony, but clearly the effort fell flat -- at least with a certain Fox commentator whose sense of irony may be missing."

Don't let your hatred for who is in the White House cloud your critical thinking.

Are you taking over from Madame Cleo in the mind reading game? Isn't "hate" a little too strong? I didn't vote for him nor do I agree with a big chunk of his agenda, but I don't hate Obama.

Anyway...whether Dunn's comments were taken out of context or not, political types get slammed for what they say whether they mean it or not. And Obama has certainly associated with some people that have come up with some over the top comments. Rev. Wright, Van Jones, etc.
