Hi,

I received biometric appointment for November 20th.

Is it true I will need a valid state ID or should be enough my foreing passport?

Does my husband has to come with me?

What other documents should I bring ( I never received NOA1 but only biometric appointment).

Many thanks

Your passport & letter are all you will need. No one has to go with you. Inside you will fill out a simple form & then have pictures & fingerprints taken.

It's a simple procedure - very low key. Takes maybe 10 minutes once your turn is called. Spouse can be in the waiting area with you but usually not for the quick photo and fingerprint.

Bring:

  • I.D. (Passport)
  • Original Appointment Notice(s) (EAD and AOS biometrics if applicable)
  • Marriage Certificate (if name changed)

Thats about it.
