If something was wrong they advise the person to not attend the interview and tell them what was wrong. There were a couple of failures at the medical the day we got ours. Some where told they needed treatment ( disease) or further medical evaluation ( heart defect) or that they were unapproved ( HIV) I wonder if the new stance on AIDS will change that ? They were a DV lottery couple.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thank you guys,

@ NigeriaorBust, I see under your timeline that the Visa was not ready after a week which is their normal timeframe for VISA pick-up after approval. Am I reading it wrong?

Part of our delay was his fault , We had a fairly short timeline from approval and he doesn't do email well. ( He hand writes letters and takes them to an internet store to have them scanned to my email and tells me he has sent me an email. He finished his medical after the interview. So that delayed the actual pick up by a week. Once he finishes some things up there we will get him here.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
